Terms & Conditions

Please read the following information carefully before booking a tour. These terms set out your rights and obligations. By using the site www.viadrinatours.com ("the Site"), the user ("the User") agrees to be bound by these terms ("Terms"). If you disagree with the Terms, please exit the Site immediately.

1. Contracting party

By booking a tour with Viadrina Tours you enter into a binding contract with the tour operator Viadrina Tours Maciej Wronecki, ul. Zimowa 14/2, 53-018 Wrocław, NIP 899-244-81-49, Poland.

2. Requirements for use

To use the services offered on this Website, the user must have a valid email account and a properly configured, up-to-date web browser.

4. Terms of service – tours

4.1. Multi-day tours

4.2. Payment policy

To make a tour reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required when booking between 180 and 31 days before the tour date.

The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour start date. Customers booking within 30 days are required to make full payment. Failure to complete full payment 30 days before departure may result in automatic cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.

4.2.4. Billing currency

All rates are calculated, published and processed in EUR. Prices are quoted per person sharing a double/twin room. Single or triple room supplements are calculated separately upon request.

4.2.5. Cancellation by the client

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to Viadrina Tours prior to departure. The following penalties apply:

• 61+ days before departure – full refund minus a €15 service fee per person
• 60–30 days before departure – cancellation penalty of 20% of the total price
• 29–15 days before departure – cancellation penalty of 30% of the total price
• 14–7 days before departure – cancellation penalty of 50% of the total price
• 6–3 days before departure – cancellation penalty of 80% of the total price
• 2–0 days before departure – cancellation penalty of 100% of the total price

Once a tour has commenced, no cancellations or refunds will be issued for unused portions.

4.2.6. Cancellation by Viadrina Tours

We do not cancel tours. However, should cancellation become necessary prior to departure, Viadrina Tours will make every effort to offer similar alternative arrangements at the next available date or an alternative fixed date. If no alternative is possible, a full refund will be issued.

4.2.7. Number of participants

Each tour has a maximum of 48 participants and a minimum of 2 participants.

4.3. Walking tours and day tours

All our activities may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start time.

The only exception is Auschwitz Day Tours: cancellation at any time results in a full refund minus a €20 service fee per person.

No-show policy

If a client fails to arrive on the date stated in the booking confirmation, the full price of the booking will be charged.

Behaviour policy

Viadrina Tours representatives reserve the right to remove any intoxicated, abusive, or ill participant(s) from any service. All costs incurred as a result will be borne by the removed participants.
